Navajo Taco's

Well in this family there is definatley two groups when it comes to Navajo Taco's. The sweet side and the not so sweet side.
Sweet
Brown ground beef, drain. Add seasonings(pepper, garlic pepper) Mix in Chili sauce (this in a family recipe that I will post in another post) The sauce is a tomatoe sauce similiar to salsa.

Not so sweet
Brown ground beef with chopped onions, season, drain add a can of pinto beans and a jar of salsa.

I make these ahead and keep them warm in a slow cooker.

Fry bread.

Rhodes rolls, raised and then flattened to about 6" circles.

Then deep fry them until golden brown.

Top with your choose of toppings.
Today we had
Tomatoes
Onions
Lettuce
Cheese
Sour cream
Salsa
Olives.

Simple, and when my mom requests these for her mothers day dinner, they must be good.
