Angel Hair Pasta With Broccoli and Ham

Always a family favorite. In fact requested tonight by my husband!

I doubled the recipe for lunches tomorrow. (except for the broccoli)

1pkg (8oz) uncooked angel hair pasta
1 pkg (16oz) frozen broccoli
2 Tbs butter1 tsp finely chopped garlic (I use it out of a jar)
2 Tbs all-purpose flour
1 1/4 cups milk
1 (8oz) sour cream ( I use reduced fat)
1 tsp instant chicken bouillon granules
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp dried basil leaves
8 oz cooked ham cut into chunks
Parmesan cheese

Cook pasta to al dente

Meanwhile cook broccoli according to package directions Drain and keep warm
In a quart saucepan melt butter, add garlic. Stir in flour over medium low heat until smooth and bubbly. (About a minute or so). With a wire whisk, stir in milk, sour cream, bouillon, dry mustard, ham and basil. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until sauce is thickened. (about 5 minutes).

Mix together the pasta, sauce and broccoli. Salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese. Eat and enjoy!
